Our Story

Owners Carla Schoch and Laura Garcia set out to create a unique, creative, and fun spirit wear line to help the community show their passion for Highland school spirit! The Hornets Nest collection mixes traditional spirit wear with other one-of-a-kind apparel to give this growing community all the options necessary to support their Highland Hornets in style.

Hornets Nest offers a wide range of apparel options to match your unique sense of fashion, from toddlers to teens to adults. Our clothing and accessories are carefully crafted to ensure the latest in spirit wear trends. We will also offer Ohio-themed apparel, home décor, as well as special gifts for family and friends, all with a unique touch shaped from our desire to create one-of-a-kind merchandise.

Carla and Laura both live in Sharon Township with their families, including six children in Highland Schools. While spending the last few years with our kids involved in various sports, and school activities, we found there was a need and interest for greater access to the Highland gear they will be so proudly wearing around. In addition to our online store, we will be hosting various pop up shops around town, with the goal of expanding to a local store front.

We will continue to offer many more exciting ideas and creations, and welcome your feedback and suggestions. We look forward to serving this proud community of Highland supporters and the friends and families we know and will come to know in the future.
